This is a drop-in replacement for the VFD display used in the HP / Agilent 53131A / 53132A / 53181A frequency counters
This display is also compatible with the HP/Agilent 58503A opt 001 and 58503B opt 001 GPS Time Reference Receivers.
The new display is LED-based and requires no modifications to the counter.

The LED display is virtually lifetime-lasting and doesn’t burn out like a VFD display.

Step-by-Step Display Replacement Instructions
Ensure you have the ability to desolder a 36-pin VFD display and solder the LED display board.
You can also cut all the old display pins, remove the body, then desolder each pin individually and clean the holes using a solder wick.
